Preferred Commerce Privacy Statement
Because we, Preferred Commerce, gather certain types of information about the users of
Preferred Commerce sites and services, we believe you, the user, should fully understand
our policies regarding the use of the information we collect. This privacy statement
discloses what information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it.
What information do we compile?
In addition to the information you provide on your registration form, information relating
to your browsing behavior is automatically retrieved through the site. Our purposes for collecting

turn allows Preferred Commerce to provide our users with a service that is relevant to their

What we do with the information we collect?
We use your customer contact information supplied on the registration form (like your name,
address, city, state and e-mail address) to send you information about our company, products
and services, which may include our magazine or those of entities with whom we have certain
agreements. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings. (See Section 5, below). Other
information that we collect is required for us to improve our service level to you (like your
general product line, number of employees or volume of business). We share aggregate
information with the certain of our advertisers to ensure that the site and its content
remain relevant to our members. Preferred Commerce uses this kind of information on a
need-to-know basis. This information is not available to unauthorized employees at any
time.
Preferred Commerce may use the personal information submitted by our users to determine
the demographics of our users and to compile and distribute statistical data and general
marketplace information about Preferred Commerce to entities other than advertisers. These
demographics will always be represented in an aggregate format and will never identify a
specific user individually. The personal information you supplied to Preferred Commerce will
not be disclosed on an individual basis to sources outside of Preferred Commerce and our

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. Preferred
Commerce makes chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups available to our users.

User Options - Opt In/Opt Out

or report debts owed to us, or to protect our rights or property.
We have the capacity to collect information about users relating to their interests and purchasing
habits.In order to serve you better and to tailor the Preferred Commerce experience to your specific
needs and tastes, we offer you the option of receiving information from third parties about topics,
products and services that interest you.In order to receive this specially tailored information,
you must check off the box on the Preferred Commerce registration form indicating that you wish to
receive such information. Preferred Commerce will not provide such information to you if not so
indicated on your registration form.

Security Procedures
Preferred Commerce operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and
password protection systems. For all transactions using credit cards and related financial information,
Preferred Commerce utilizes Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to transfer data from the browser to the
server. Because the primary key is only recognized by the Preferred Commerce server, data cannot be
deciphered by unauthorized access.
If we decide to change the terms of this privacy policy for any reason, we will post those changes
here so that you will always know the extent to which we will use or disclose content from the information
we gather.
